The Glossy dial sets how sharp the gloss highlight will be, so a high number for Gloss and Strength is needed for glossy materials. Of course if the object with the glossy material isn't very big relative to the resolution of the image the highlight may disappear as it was to sharp/small to render. A word of warning on the Pose Controls for the hands. These are control dials that set several finger joints dials at once and can override the ability to fine tune the individual joints separately. I never use the hand Pose Controls, it is just as easy to select multiple joints by holding the Ctrl-key when clicking on them. The Parameters will look a little odd though as not all the finger joints have the Twist and Side to Side controls.
I noticed that, I adjusted everything, fingers I mean manually. Each joint one at a time. It took awhile but I think I got it right.
Ok so i took her out of the scene, only cause i need to find a better scene. But she's rendered with light. And for some reason the background is not dark, anyone know how to fix this?
