Genesis 8 vs 2... [Solved regarding breasts]

So, while I've had the software for a while (a decade?  hell I have a daz 2 license on my account I think) I seldom played around with it due to time and $$.  That said, I've slowly built up assets, and even got myself a 3 month membership to start.

 

So here is my question.  I've been messing around with Genesis 2, but I'd like to use Genesis 8 (female), only any time I use it I can't seem to find a 'breast' setting for shaping/sizeing.  The Chest just makes it look lopsided.

 

Am I looking in the wrong place or does G8 REQUIRE an addon purchase?  (I figured I'd ask now as I'm seeing all sorts of christmas holday specials on the morphing stuff)

You can try using the Pectoral bones, though shaping really requires at least the Body Morphs set.

Have you checked in the shaping tab under Chest? There should be a few base morphs, like for the size. For further movement, check out the head and body morph packs in the store, and for even more morphs, feel free to add any of the other morph packs to the set.

Yeah, all I see under "left pectoral" and "right pectoral" are "chest scale" and "nipples"

 

And chest scale takes the entire torso out of scale of the rest of the body.

Nope, G8F base has none of those, just nipples.

This is mostly for 'the next person' who comes along with something of the same question.  I went and purchased https://www.daz3d.com/breast-control-genesis-8-female-s instead of either of the above, and while it 'kind of' does the same, it isnt as 'simple' as I expect either of the above might be.  It seems more complicated for 'sizing'. (Not a purchase I regret, however I might have purchased one of the above BEFORE the one I chose)

Yes, Breast Control is very good but it's not typical shaping morphs.

Daz does have a very good  money back guarantee,  so you can always return the one you did buy, providing it was purchased within the last 30 days, and then buy the body morphs product. Going forward the morph packs are really essential, as many character packs wil incorporate some dial spins from the morph packs

True, but keeping in mind I think between my membership and the Christmas discounts I got it at a very good price so I'll have to think thrice before doing a refund return on it. 

 

Comes down to how much I end up doing that requires those controls...

I would probably keep the Breast Control and wait until a good deal pops up on one of the other products also. If you're in the market for breast morphs you're probably also in the market for breast movement and Breast Control is pretty good in that area.

Hence why I am being careful in my decision to do a return.
