Same here. No idea why, these are sets/props, not people or clothes or even animals that rely on Genesis for a base. Theoretically should be usable in any version of Studio and/or Poser, etc. But the maker(s) chose to do 'em that way for whatever reason, so that's at least two lost sales they'd have gotten had this not been Daz Studio 4.5 only.

Perhaps the PA doesn't own Poser?

Yeah, that's probably the only reason I could think of. Oh well ... maybe next time.

    That's too bad.
I use Carrara and duf files are useless for me too.

If even props are going to be DS only, there is almost no incentive left to come here and visit the store

Petty, it used to be a great place

We don't know why in this particular case the PA only made a .duf version, but that doesn't mean DAZ 3D is no longer making Poser products, any more than a PA making a Poser-only product means that DAZ 3D is no longer supporting DS.

Poser 9 is $35 at Purplus right now; Poser 8 is at Amazon for $23...

DS is free, but PA's aren't required to support it, either.
