by the way...tags are probably necessary but for me it would be more important that the resize of images works so we have the oppurtunity to post larger images than 800*800. I make a lot wide-screen renders and want to post them here in full size 1600*900 so you can recognize what`s in the image. There is no need of high quallity textures and bumbs and such things if one can only post small images.

okay, here is the promissed native american village, a tribute to all vendors I used in this render. Jack Tomalin (for the great village and ground+texture), First Bastion for the hilly surround, VAL for clothing, AM for the sky dome, and for sure and what is long overdue -yannek- for the incredible great natasha skin texture I use for Dixie, also a tribute to Lisa for her great looking plants and 3Dream/Mairy for Stefania hair (I really like this hair) and Dino Raul for his trees. By the way, the horse is allso great :)

Dear sir, I would like to draw your attention to the four legs on the horse, and the two legs on the woman

okay, but this is only the number of legs  that makes the difference  all are legs

No, it's not just the legs, there are other differences as well.

Take Mr Horsie for example; he has something that Mrs Horsie doesn't have. And Mrs Horsie has something Mr Horsie doesn't have.
And it's the same with Mr & Mrs Human as well - they each have something the other doesn't have.

we talked about the legs not about the sex  and the difference between a four legged animal and a two legged human are...two legs

I strongly suggest that we all put swimsuits on all animals that we render from now untill we have FLAG's. We should never break the DAZ TOS just because what we see is not sexual to us. The TOS states Sexual at all. So we should be sure to follow the TOS for all RENDERS. Human, animal or creature.

Great native stuff Cosmo. I'm 1/4 native american, (I can prove it if needed) so these SPEAK to me.

I can't tell if you're joking, or being completely serious. Either way results in a 'lmao', though. :ohh:

well, to be serious, one could say animals are not nude, they wear fur.
And yes they do, and if you look carefully at an animal you can see the zips and buttons of their fur-outfits.

hrhrhr... if... humans are not... shaved ... they also wear a special kind of fur...

Okay folks, I think we should try to get back on topic... what ever it has been :P

    what a great great song

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qBAI0EKvVI&feature=relmfu

    and the lyrics:

    I’m watching the water

    Watching the coast

    Suddenly I know

    What I want the most

And I want to tell you

    Still I hold back

    I need some time

    Get my life on track

I know that look on your face

But there’s somethin’ lucky about this place

    And there’s somethin’ good comin’

    For you and me

    Somethin’ good comin’

    There has to be

    And I’m thinking ‘bout mama

    And about the kids

    And the way we lived

    And the things we did

How she never had a chance

    Never caught a break

And how we pay for our big mistakes

I know so well the look on your face

And there’s somethin’ lucky about this place

    There’s somethin’ good comin’

    Just over the hill

    Somethin’ good comin’

    I know it will

And I’m in for the long run

    Wherever it goes

    Ridin’ the river

    Wherever it goes

    And I’m an honest man

    Work’s all I know

    You take that away

    Don’t know where to go

And I know that look that’s on your face
There’s somethin’ lucky about this place

    There’s somethin’ good comin’

    For you and me

    Somethin’ good comin’

    There has to be

Nice work on that last one, cosmo, I think it works really well.
It's a great combination of composition, lighting, scale, subject, and tones!

because of the EURO 2012 soccer championship I find not so much time to do some good new renders so here is another old one

p.s.: if someone wants a large version of the older/newer renders please let me know. I can send you a larger version via pm I think.

    thank you :)

well the fog effect consists of two things.

    first:
the "fog tool deluxe III" you can get here at the store. this was positioned and morphed in the scene and rendered
    and
    second:
the fog in front is easy made postwork with a graphic programm, I marked some areas of the rendered image, copied and pasted these areas as new objects, reduced the opacity of these new objects and brightened these objects a little, ready :)

    quite simple :)

the light in the window is also postwork :)

another old one and an example of the fog tool deluxe III (no postwork on the image itself, just the frame is postwork)

well some of the fog is part of the render :) the fog around the house and backround trees is the fog tool deluxe III (3d fog tool)

and you can use the fog tool deluxe III also as 3D snow or rain or fire, here I let it snow. the snow on the ground and on the roof is made with the "let it snow ds shader" tool
