m5 and v5 poser tools

Hi i recently got a back issue of the 3Dartist magazine and i got M5 and V5 free on disc. So i have Dson for poser and the other tools needed, but i cant load the v5 or m5 into poser. There are no poser cf or whatever i need included on the disc in order for me to use the figures in poser. I can load up genesis with no bother
Can anyone please help me what to do? Can Daz provide me with the files by any chance?
Its just i got that magazine just for the genesis figures :/
Here is proof i have the disc.

You would need to write to Sales Support by using Help > Contact Us at the top of the forum.
They may be able to add these to your Order History, and then you would be eligible for updates. I don't know if they will do that or not, but you can always ask.
use the current version of DS to convert Genesis to the Poser CF files.
Thanks mattymanx how do i do this? Can u link me please?
V5 and M5 are morphs of Genesis, so the dials for the shapes are automatically added to its "gene pool" as they call it. No Poser Companion Files needed for that. Just look under Actor/Real World, I think? And the default textures will be in the Materials folder.
If you have not "purchased" DS4.6 from the store, do so. You will find that the DS installer, the Genesis Starter Essentials, and the Poser Companion Files for the Genesis Starter Essentials are added to your products library.
Since you already have the DSON, I would guess that you have installed the DSON importer to Poser's python library along with DS4.x files required if you don't have DS installed on your machine.
When working with Genesis and Poser, I found it easier to install the Genesis Starter Essentials and the Poser Companion Files all to a separate runtime. Point the Poser library at the Genesis runtime. Before installing V5 and M5 to the runtime, trying loading base Genesis to Poser. You should get the basic gray andro shape of Genesis. Dial up male or female and apply the texture from the materials room
Now to find out if your system is prone to the dread "library lock". Load the included content clothing for the opposite gender of the morph you dialed. If you used the female, apply the Journeyer clothing. If you used the male apply the Magus clothing. Hit apply active morphs in the DSON importer. If Poser works for a bit and then goes on, you're good to go. If Poser slows to crawl or the library locks up, Poser, the DSON, Genesis and it's morphs don't like each other.
Just out of interest's sake, which version of Poser are you using (yes I know it's 9 or above but is it standard or Pro)?
