Problem With Viewport

Every time that I hover the curser over the viewport everything turns yellow and it is impossible to see what is on the screen. Is there a way of switching this off?

In the Scene Tab there are checkmarks beside the eye symbol & the up arrow pointer symbol - so go to the model in the scene tab that is causing the whole scene to turn yellow & click on the checkmark for it so that it turns into an X symbol. You may have to change each of the checkmarks of the child models of the parent model to Xes too. There can be quite a few. Leave as checkmarks only the models you want to move & such in the viewport.

  • Thank you nonesuch00

  • You van turn the overlay off in the Draw Settings pane>Node Highlighting.

There is a "better" way to fix this. Open the Draw Settings pane (Window>Panes (Tabs)>Draw Settings). Expand the General section allong the left edge of the Draw Settings. Select Node Highlighting. Change Highlight Style from Bounding Box and Surface to Bounding Box Only.

Edit: This is the same thing Richard posted while I was typing, but with a bit more detail.
