Mac - Changing content directory to a external HDD and renderosity not working on DIM

Hi,
sorry of this is a usual question but i am a noobie on daz and need some expert help since i got stuck.
I installed Daz3d on my mac ssd internal drive but i got very few Gb left in it. For work I use external HDD's for libraries, templates and non essential files
Tried moving the users/shared Daz folders to another drive and now Daz Studio doesn't find the content. Can anybody tell me how to fix it in a easy way
If possible pointing also the installer to those folders
Another problem i bumped into was i bought 2 female genesis 3 clothes from a site called renderosity and DIM it doesn't even recognize them, is there a workaround, do I need a special installer? There are so many files inside the .zip files i don't want to mess up again.
Thank you in advance

Well, you have to go to EDIT--> Preferences--> Content Directory Manager, and there tell DAZ Studio where your new folder locations are. Make sure you do this for both the Poser and DAZ studio file formats. A word of warning, if the external drive, for whatever reason, gets assigned a different letter than the one DAZ Studio knows, it will again not find your content.
As for REnderosity, DIM can't find it, and also can't install it, because DIM only has access to download from the DAZ storage server... as REndo is a different shop, they of course can't just download from there.
You will have to manually install the files, I'm afraid. Here's a how-to, it's for an older version of Studio, and Windows, but I hope it helps: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/927004/#Comment_927004
