Catching up on this discussion - one of my favorite threads in all the forum - the creativity is amazing.
@Griffin Avid - Gorgeous - truly cinematic. You have an amazing sense of composition, color, and tone. Very well done
@tkdrobert - that would make a fantastic line in a Sci-Fi movie - some evil scientist creating a creature. Your understanding and love of the genre and imagination are amazing and inspiring!
@junk - your storyline is visually fascinating and thematically intrigueing.... I always look forward to seeing what you will come up with next.
This feels so much like a Jim Burns space image that in some ways it causes a dislocation of expectations to both see that it's underwater as opposed to in a planetary nebula somewhere and the scale is not as truly vast as you'd expect. The character in the front window shatters the expectation of a 40-50 deck vessel and re-scales it to 2, maybe 3. Most, most impressive and having the jump in scale makes it fascinating and causes one to look at the image all the more. Love it.
