I just got the free The Look at my Hair Player where do I Install too. I have tried a few times It tells me I need Daz4.5 & I have Daz4.5 Pro.
it should just install to where is wants to go mine did ...
What I want to know is how I can have the player and the full version in daz at the same time If I have the player in tabs the full version does not show in the create menu and vise versa

The Player and Full versions are mutually exclusive. It is possible to switch from one to the other:
If using 32 bit versions replace 64 with 32
If using a Mac replace "dll" with "dylib"
First Time: (presuming that the full is the installed version)
exit studio.
rename the "lookatmyhair.64.dll" to "lookatmyhair.64.dll_full"
install the player
Afterwards:
(from player to full)
exit studio.
rename the "lookatmyhair.64.dll" to "lookatmyhair.64.dll_player"
rename "lookatmyhair.64.dll_full" to "lookatmyhair.64.dll"
(from full to player)
exit studio.

These steps will not be needed for too much longer.

LAMH and LAMH Player require Studio 4.5.1.6 or newer. There have been some reports of issues with the newest beta release, and we're looking into those.
The installer provided by DAZ will install the plugin to the correct place. However, the installer for the *PLAYER* does not create some folders that are needed for some operations.
The user will need to create the following folders:
Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/lookatmyhairAM
Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/lookatmyhairAM/presets
Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/lookatmyhairAM/geometry
Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/lookatmyhairAM/maps

Thanks kendall but I think I will wait till they are set up properly ..that seems like a bit of a nuisance having to close it down go looking for the dll and changing it closing down again ..surely there is an easier way ...
The 1.05 full plugin will be available very soon. You won't need to worry about the player once you have the full version of 1.05.
