Not sure, I don't think I've seen it return yet.

This one has probably come up before since they aren't exactly new ebooks, but B.V.Larson has a number of ebooks over on Amazon that use DAZ figures for the cover art.

The first two links use the BEO figure, and the third I recognize the gun his holding, so I assume thats M4. There are probably other books of his using DAZ stuff but I don't recognize anything at a glance.

Yes at the moment we don't have that thread in this forum, and I am not at all certain that it will reappear, as in it's latter days it was getting misued and rather than showing true product sightings it had people using it to promote their own use of Daz products in their own commercial work.

Is that self-promotion really so bad though? I think either way PAs would be interested to see the uses the models were being put to, and the rest of the community could still enjoy and draw inspiration from the wide variety of commercial applications of DAZ products...

The Idea of it was for people who had spotted some other company using Daz3D products.

Self promotion was not the reason for that thread. There were other places to post self promotion, such as the thread asking members to show off what they did with Daz3D programs and content.
