    I used my $6 PC+ code for DOs and got the Pro Bundle for 68% off! ($43.60)   @melanieL  Do you own both the previous Pro Bundles? Apparently it's 25% off if you own both of those, and 10% if you own one of the previous Pro Bundles.

    Also, check the TOTAL as a few minutes ago the line item was showing the right discount, but then in the cart, the item price went to 30% for me, but the total was correct.

    I also picked up Tyrone, Alexander, and Short Afro Hair. I got the Boardwalk Casual Outfit Textures, but otherwise, if I use an outfit, I'll use the shaders I already have.

    @Novica - I only own Darius 6 Pro, none of Darius 7. I had a 10% message first thing this morning but it wasn't working. According to DAZ_Steve in another thread they are upping the discount to 25% for any previous Darius Pro Bundle, but it still hasn't shown up for me. And yes both the Item price and the Total price say $66.13 (though Darius 7 Pro Bundle does show up as free). I'm itching to buy!

    Oooh, that's really good to do 25% for having either one. The bundles aren't exactly cheap. I wonder why it's not working for everyone. CTRL+F5 is a hard refresh (which I'm sure you know) so hopefully you'll see a change in your cart soon.  Here's Daz Steve's post.

    I posted in the Darius thread, but you should know here-  Tyrone's eyelashes load (from the Content Library, using the icon under Characters for Genesis 8 Male) as a long, solid gray curved rectangle.  If you load from the file under Characters (the main mats, not the eyelashes) it's fine. This needs fixing!

    I won't get Darius until next week, but here are the King and Queen of the Damned (https://www.daz3d.com/bundle-of-the-damned) which I finally managed to pick up after pining for years. They're as weird as I hoped :-) And they go on sale quite often.

    The materials don't work (well) in Iray, though perhaps there's an easy fix, but they can be shaded by hand or just apply presets. This is a 3DL render.

    Edit: a slight close-up added.

    Nice render of Tyrone, Novica. If I ever manage to get Darius (still waiting for any discount to show up) I'll probably get Tyrone and Redz's hair set too.

    ETA: Actually I just took a closer look at those two. When I saw all the hair options (and even an albino option) on Tyrone and the fact that the hair is for Genesis 3 as well as 8 and for Male and Female, that makes them look like an even better buy, so I think I'll pick them up straight away. Good sales job you did there yet again! DAZ should put you on commission laugh

    I have a theory about the glitch with the Darius 8 messages and discounts.

    I received the 10% discount on Darius 8 Pro bundle. The message in my Exclusive Offers said it was for owning one or more Darius Pro bundles. But the fact is, I didn't own any of them. I do, however, own "one or more" Monique Pro bundles, having grabbed them for free along with Monique 8. The message also had an expiration date of November 20th, same as Monique.

    I think they used the Monique message and code to create the Darius message and code, but for some reason, the code was still looking for people who owned Monique Pro bundles instead of Darius Pro bundles.

    When they changed things over to 25% instead, the message stated I owned both D6 and D7, which was correct at that moment, because I snagged them when I bought D8, shortly after Daz Midnight. And CS had already credited me the $9.92 difference.

    @ladair  Sounds like you lucked out- but what a great strategy! You got the other two free, which made you qualify for the larger discount. Other people are sitting here thinking, "Why didn't I do that?" but that 25% wasn't guaranteed at the time. Hope it works out for everyone. Daz was certainly on the ball with this one.

    Update on barn owner's brother-

    He has been moved out of specialized care and into a rehabilitation center. He has all tubes removed, and is forming so-so sentences. He thinks he is making sense, so there's something (hopefully) still healing in the brain. But he does NOT have any paralysis on his right side! He can walk, etc. 

    Also, visited the shelter again today, no luck on Eevie. I go out every night calling and walking the neighborhood after 9pm. Doing rescue groups, vets, other shelters, etc. I think someone must have her. Fortunately, it's going to be in the 50's for the next five days at night, it has been in the forties but at least not freezing. She has medium/long fur and lots of people still have their sprinklers going so she can get water, and plus bird baths. I leave water out year long for the wildlife.

    No, you're were right the first time. I got lucky. I was feeliing lucky to get the 10% discount, and just wanted to check out before Daz could correct it! lol The 25% bump was totally unexpected. In fact, when I saw the discount went up, I wasn't planning on asking for a refund of the difference. But they'd already refunded it!

    Yep, just pure dumb luck.

    Have you printed out posters with a photo of her and placed them strategically throughout the neighborhood? If someone did take her in, they might bring her back to you if they know her owner is searching for her.

    Do your shelters have listings they share with other shelters? For example in MD when a dog is found they enter its details into a system that all other shelters can see. That way if you walk into shelter A they can see a dog that fits the discrption is in shelter B. Not sure if they do that automatically or if the person looking has to ask

    You might also try posting on social media like Facebook and twitter. I know in Washington PA there are facebook groups that help find lost animals

    Yes to all the above  yes  I'm not actually in Pensacola, but have searched those shelters too (45 mins to an hour away) A friend works for one of the groups too, so they're keeping an eye out. Whenever I go on the Facebook group(s) I also mention the new stray arrivals at the shelter. Figure I can help other cats that way.

    Our area has PawBoost and many FB groups. The PawBoost has an email component, which is useful for people like me who refuse to use Facebook anymore. I get direct emails with pictures, addresses, and descriptions of lost and found pets. Plus there's a neighborhood app I keep getting invitations to that helps people find pets. I think PawBoost and the neighborhood apps are national with local subgroups.

    Glad to hear he's making continued progress. Hopefully he'll be back to normal, although that can take some time.

    Sorry to hear Eevie is still missing. Hope someday soon you'll say "oh, there she is".

    This is what happened for me as well. I got the credit plus the two prior Darius pro bundles for free. I had assumed it might be because I owned both base models but apparently that's not the case

    Darius' eyes aren't responding well to this set of lights, and the neck lighting is, well, different. I'd say it's the lights and not the dude. I don't like the brown eyes that come with him, one is really light, the other very dark, and no details to speak of. I got him primarily for the other figures anyway.

    DAZ default eye settings have a whole lot to be desired IMO. What's the light set?

    Pro-Studio HDR Lighting System, which I use all the time. This is rather unusual. Edit: It's the EXACT same lighting used on Tyrone, and his eyes don't have the slightly cloudy effect.

    I decided to do a test render of Elan Hair because unlike many other hairs made for males and females (unisex), it does have a bit more of a masculine hairline.  The hair has various glossiness options and I selected the highest gloss.  I really like it because I usually forget to add hair shaders to hair and then wish the hair had come out shinier. 

    The character is phx-Cameron.  His skin is slightly uneven with tiny blemishes, making it a very realistic skin.  He also has several facial hair options.  He's also got very light/fine hair on his arms, which I like.  I think he is a versatile character and can be either the handsome hero or the ruffian/villain.  He's in Henley Shirt And Jeans.

    Out of the box render, no lighting.

    @worldsedge  I like him, he's not a "male model" type of guy, he's a typical male. The nose really adds character.

    Evil Clown HD

    Man, I'm not going to recover from this clown! I'm like the kid in the pic! I need a big sister to shield me from the scary stuff! This is Josh Crockett's Evil Clown HD wearing Bad Kitteh's Bad Clown Jumpsuit and Hairpieces. Kids are Chase for G3M and FWSA Willa for Teen Josie 8. The set is the wonderful Carnival Pack 1 Iray Add on for all the old carnival sets. Really amazing what they did with that.

    I'm hoping I'm done with clowns for a while, LOL
