how well does bryce work with daz studio...?

if I create a sophisticated desert landscape in Bryce with many rocks, plants and trees will I be able to import that no problem into daz studio for rendering? what are the limitations of moving objects etc between the 2 applications.

    It is possible. see this thread http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/13506/

    However I must admit most people use it in revers to the way you are suggesting, as that is really the way it was designed to work. Set up the figures and / or props in DS and then send it to a Scene set up in Bryce.

    hi - thanks for the reply. ok I see. the reason why I want to do it from Bryce to daz is because I have just purchased octane render for daz studio whereas there is no octane plugin available for Bryce.

    If I create a desert scene in Bryce with many rocks, plants etc will I be able to export that entire scene (all the geometry and plant/rock instances) to daz for rendering? I will do all the lighting and materials in daz studio using octane.

    If you pop over and ask the question in the Bryce forum I am sure someone will help you.

    David Brinnen has been experimenting with exporting Bryce stuff directly to Octane for rendering
