i13 College Uniform for the Genesis 3 Female(s) problem

I purchased i13 College Uniform for the Genesis 3 Female(s). I used it on a character based on Victoria 7. It looked fine in the program. But the blazer and shirt became all white after rendering to image. The socks and shoes have no such problem.  What happened? Please help.

  • Are you rendering with Iray or 3Delight? Which version of DS (Help>About daz Studio)? Are there any errors in the log file, if you look at the end just after rendering (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File)?

Hi, I am using 4.10 version. There are not any Iray or 3Delight to be chosen :(

Go to window menu > pane(tabs) > render settings. Make you you are on the editor tab in that, the engine you choose is at the top(iray or 3dl)

  • Same problem with same outfitangry

Render set to iRay, whole scene renders normally exept bazer and skirt, socks and shoes reder normally.

Manually checked all textures sets etc.

    What it can be?

  • Open the Surfaces pane, select the blazer or the skirt in the scene, and then click on their entry in the Editor tab of the Surface pane. Above the list of surfaces there should be a Shader line - what does it read? (If it says <multiple> try selecting just the main fabric surface.)

  • Hello,

I realize this is an old thread but the item is still for sale with the same issues as described above, so anyone else purchasing it may search for this thread and find this useful...

I was having the same problem today with this outfit and was about to request a refund on it when I gave it one last shot at troubleshooting (with success).

I'm using Daz Studio 4.12 and am using the Iray render engine. I selected the blazer (College Uniform Main) and then went to the surfaces tab --> editor. I could not find a "Shader" for this clothing item, but I did find a pull-down option titled "Base Mixing". This was set to PBR Metallicity/Rougness. I first tried the PBR Specular/Glossiness setting with similar results ( it start out properly textured and then painted it all white as the render progressed). After setting it to "Weighted" I had sucess and it rendered acceptably. See attached image, please ignore lighting issues.
