Is that hair model a good fit for my G3 male?

Hey guys,
I saw this hair model is on sale, but it says :
Supported Genesis 3 Male Shapes and Morphs:
- Michael 7
- Leo 7
- Guy 7
- Lee 7
My male character is not on that list but its Genesis 3 Male model, does that mean it will fit or not?
Thanks in advance!

Supported shapes are those for which there is a custom morph in the hair. Others will rely on AutoFollow, which may give good ersults or may be a bit off depending on the shape of the hair and the shape being matched - you might see issues in the tail, I guess, though fixing those should not be too tricky with a dForm.
When you autofit the hair, use the autofit for short hair. You'll probably need to use the "expand all" function to fit the skull cap properly to the skull, but the hair keeps full movability.
I won't be using any of the morphs for that hair. I think that Daz creators should write the polygons count under each item...
I have an .fbx file of my male model that I import, when I try to add the hair, this shows up
Edit: I found a fix by applying the hair then exporting the whole thing as fbx (without selecting merge clothing), imported the fbx again and was able to decimate from 300k polys to 20k. If I dont export as FBX the scalp is cut.
Why are you using FBX? That's thrown away a lot of DS-specific information, including the identity of the figure (which is why you are getting the AutoFit dialogue, for covnersion from another figure, I would guess).
Because as I said otherwise the scalp texture has "holes"
But I got it working, thanks for the replies!
The "holes" in the skull texture are intersections with the head, and will disappear when you use the parameter tab, "Actor", and in there the shaping options, as mentioned above.
