DIM - installing previous downloads on new computer

My main PC has died, so I thought I'D try installing D|S on my backup machine. I've stored all my purchased content on an external drive, so I figured with access to it, I would be able to install it using DIM. However, even though I can sign in fine on DIM, it doesn't seem to acknowledge all this downloaded content - everything I want to install, it wants to download again. I've organized my purchases in folders named by date - "20171105," for example. Is there any way for DIM to scan all these folders and use them to install my purchases on the new box? I don't want to re-download everything I've ever bought.

    As shipped, DIM uses one download folder. To work with what you have, you will need to define each of your folders, one at a time, to DIM as it's download folder, process that folder, and then move to the next.

    I have a simular problem, my AMD Laptop computer crashed, as my hard drive will boot, and has my Daz 4.9 and $ 2,000 worth of content, and characters work-ups of my "TEMPoRAL Girl"(Hm) ( I was in the Platinium Club on my AMD 64 Bit Workstation, but has damage in circuit board, but am using another laptop, and in vain tried to re-load a new Daz 4.9, got to manager stage ( DIM ), verify my log in, as request, as a new user, but still have my old $ 2,000 content on Daz's server, but can't re-load till I get through the verification stage, as the DIM is stopping me from re-loading the actual program to use my old content characters and materials...NUTS

    Did you point DIM to look at that folder?

    Well, l fixed my problem, as I often do...DIM FINALLY LOADED INTO THE NEW VERSION OF STUDIO, DS 4.10, DOING AN I-RAY RENDERING NOW!!!...BUT I PREFER DLIGHT AS MY RENDER...AS IT IS HAS TAKING MORE THAN 30 MINUTES TO RENDER 25% IN I-RAY, NUTS...

    How much RAM and what GPU do you have? A lot of people are seeing reduced render time in Iray, but there are some that are experiencing the same as you.

    You can switch the render engine to 3Delight, both engines are included in DS.
