Differences between 3Delight and Iray
Let me begin by saying how much I truly appreciate the help I have gotten from this forum, not just with my questions, but for what I have learned reading other threads and posts.
Earlier I was looking at a thread where someone mentioned glossiness, and the response was that glossy was for 3Delight, you need to use top coat weight for Iray, which would explain why I didn't see any changes when I played with the glossy settings.
Is there a source, a chart or a table, with those differences, or equivalencies, something along the lines of "Use Glossiness for 3Delight, use Top Coat Weight for Iray"?

Glossiness is a property in the default 3Delight shader, which is applied to any newly imported/created item, and other 3delight shaders, likely to be on older content. When rendering with Iray DS will convert the 3Delight settings to Iray Uber Base Shader (custom shaders, as opposed to settings for the standard shaders, may defeat the conversion process). The iray sahder does have Glossy settings, as well as the Top Coat settings, which you want will depend on your goals. The conversion does as good a job as an automatic process can be expected to do - if you want to achieve a different look, beyond what the standard 3delight shaders can offer, it's more a matter of going beyond a straight conversion. There is at least one tutorial in the store on using the Iray Uber Base shader though I've not used it - I'm not sure that there is a general discussion thread speciffically on the sahder settings in the forum.
