Monk robe hiding form below

Is there a way to make the monk robe for G2m not hide the torso of the figure wearing it? I'm trying to put some holes in one, but it looks like there is a bodyless ghost wearing it.

  • That sounds as if it's set up as a GeoGraft. if so, you cannot completely eliminate the hiding but you can modifiy it:

    1. select the base figure (Genesis 2 male)
    2. Switch to the Geometry Editor tool from the Tools menu
    3. Click on the figure to select a sacrificial polygon, one you don't mind being hidden
    4. Right-click and select Geometry Assignment>Set Auto-Hide Faces for Attachment
    5. in the dialogue that opens select the robe
    6. Select the Robe and fit it to None, then back to Genesis 2 Male (you won't see the change without this) and revert to your normal tool

Thanks! (It's necessary to re-fit the robe to the figure, incidentally, after all that, which I fugured out).
