Strange missing file error when loading G8 (solved)

I keep getting a missing file error when loading G8 figures, it says the Genesis 3 Female.DSF is missing but everything is fine.

This started after the essentials update?

Is anyone else having this problem?

    I'm having the same problem.  I purchased Victoria 8 and now every time I load a G8 female, I get the same problem as you.  When I load a G8 Male no missing files?

    I just started getting this message today. Missing files: data/daz 3d/genesis 3/female/genesis8female.dsf. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still get the error.

    Solved this problem

    Go here and find the file needed.

    Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female

    You need to copy the file (NOT MOVE THE ORIGINAL!!!!)

    to here: Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female

    Not sure why it is looking in the G3 location for this file, but this does solve the problem.

    Thanks, that worked. There were some updates installed. I wonder if that was the cause.
