Of course you must have a license for the software you use, and you need one which allows commercial use of what you create with it (most educational licenses don't, for example).

  • ok,its normal to be like that but i wanted to be sure.what about blender? its a free software

and about my first question? can be converted a model imported in daz?

You can use blender to create content to sell.

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do exactly for the first question: are you talking about taking a totally unrelated 3D model and converting it to a G3 character? Or are you talking about clothes and accessories?

  • both...taking a character made in another software and then converting to g3 or g8.and of course clothes for them

Converting a totally unrelated mesh into a G3 / G8 morph can't be done easily.

You can however start from the G3 / G8 mesh exported as base resolution to create a character morph in another program (I'm talking moving vertices only, no subdivision or adding new vertices, and no reordering), and then export the modified mesh as OBJ and import it as a morph in DS using the Morph Loader Pro feature.

As for clothes and accessories, you would model them in other programs, export the mesh as OBJ and rig it into DS.

  • i just bought iclone and they have character creator.with that i can create a lot of chars and i wander if i can import then in daz and convert.with cloth and accesories of course.3dxchange have an extension iclone daz genesis but as i understood is to import from daz to iclone.

my ideea was to create chars in daz (there is a lot of morphs and i bought some of them) and then put my created cloth and suits and import again in daz.why? to make some money for my project.i am working on a game trailer and i must have license for all software i use.i alreay invested  a lot of money and must invest more.so thats why i asked about conversion.

maybe you know some tutorials which can help me.

    thnak you for help
