Dissappearing hair when view changed

So I have the same scene. From one side, camera 1 you can see the hair.
As soon as I cross from the right side of his face to the left I get this:
I've removed the hair and added it again. It is set to visible in render and scene. When I render he appears bald. Any idea?

This is almost certainly down to intraction with the window glass. Is this rendering in Iray or 3Delight?
Iray. If I open the car door his hair does appear. The glass in the scene isn't selectable.
@barrettjmb "The glass in the scene isn't selectable."
Are you sure it's not selectable in the surfaces tab if you select the door or body?
Have you modified the Max Path Length in Render Settings>Editor tab>Optimisation? The default is -1, which is effectively infinite. If it's a finite vcalaue it may be running out of transitionms (it's measuring the number of times the light path is allowed to cross through a surface) before resolving the hair.
I can clearly see you posted screenshots of the DazStudio Preview window (there are cameras and the aspect frame).
This is a well known issue with the Preview in DazStudio (maybe to have a better preformance in previewmode). Because the car window is a transparent object and the hair also uses a transparent map you can not see the hair behind a window.
But dont worry just render the scene (to test you can use the spot render tool over the head) and everything should look fine... at least not bald.
If I'm wrong then I would guess it has something to do with the shader settings of the car window and/or the hair.
