Smart Content File Could Not Open - Does Not Exist

Downloaded DAZStudio 4.10 using DIM to my MacBook Pro. When trying to bring Figures into the scene from the "Smart Content" tab a pop-up says: "Could not open file: /People/Genesis 2 Female/Genesis 2 Base Female.duf File does not exist." However, when I go to that directory the file does exisit. Anyone know of a fix??
Thanks
Mick

Did you also use DIM to isntall the Starter Essentials?
I'm having the same problem. I installed a whole bunch of products through DIM and I get that same message: "Could not open file. File does not exist."
And if there's a figure already in the scene I also get another message: "Would you like to save changes to the current scene before closing it?" Which is weird, because the thing I'm usually trying to bring into the scene is something for the figure in the current scene to wear, like hair or clothing or a pose.
Also, all the items that are behaving this way are also missing their thumbnails.
I'm not sure whether any of the items I've installed earlier through DazStudio itself are among those that are having this problem, but I did just install hair through Studio and it's fine.
That does sound like a pathing issue - exactly where are the files on disc, and what are your content directories?
Yes, I did install Starter Essentials.
That is exactly what I'm experiencing. When I look in the directories where it says it can't find the DUF... I see the file.
For example: If I try to load a Geneis 2 it says it can't find the DUF file in /People/Genesis 2 Female/Genesis 2 Base Female.duf. But the file is in: My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis 2 Female/Genesis 2 Base Female.duf.
fixed the accreditation of the quote for you.

An My Daz 3D Library iss et as a content directory, and you can see the file in the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats>My Daz 3D Library>People>Genesis 2 Female?
Use your DIM - uninstall ALL starter packs - then reinstall. This fixed it for me.
If your DIM installed DAZ to somewhere that you eventually changed - also uninstall daz with DIM.
