Make the piviot bigger?

I'm wondering if it is possible to make the piviot bigger in general.

I mean the blue / green / red arrows and the white thing for scale. On small objects its sometimes hard to click the right thing.

    I don't believe so, you could feature request it (make a Technical Support ticket).

    Yes, In the Tool settings pane, select Universal at the Active tool dropdown box. then in the Manipulator section, you can adjust the line width from 1 to 5, to your preferred choice. Adjustment of Line width also is available to the rotate, translate and scale tools.
