Add a Daz character head shape without adding the body shape

Hi

I was wondering if there is a way to inject a character's head morph into a figure without adding the entire body shape.

For instance, I have Leah, Abby, and Desiree for Genesis. Using the shaping tools, I create the desired figure body shape and then want to inject the head morph only into the figure, but every time I try this is also adds the character's body shape and completely warps my figure. Is there any way to limit the character morph to the head only?

    It's only possible if the character was created with separate head and body morphs. Some are. Some have also got a whole-body morph and a head-only morph that you can dial back to -1 to remove it. If all you have is a whole-body morph, though, there's not a lot that can be done about that.

    Just realized that this post is in the New User help Forum and not in the commons.
    Seems to be the wrong place to start a discussion about why characters are sold without separate head morph.
