Font sizing is not available, sadly, and I'm not aware of a way to change pane labels (though you can place them on top instead of beside the panes, and if there are two many you will get arrows for scrolling). Remember too that clicking the active pane's tab will collapse the pane group down to just the tabs.

I liked the auto-hide feature we had for a while, where tabs could be minimised (as in DS4) but would pop open on a mouse hover, without pushing the viewport smaller. Unfortunately the change of Qt version killed that feature.

Another thing you can try is to undock your 'Content Library' tab, customise its shortcut and you can remove it completely.

I have mine set to F6. Its just a single keypress away. Press F6 it appears, press F6 again and its gone.

(I've also got 'Scene' on F5 and 'Parameters' on F8.)
