G8F characters looking strage!! solved

I have a problem with G8F characters.

Whenever I try to add any G8F character I get this Message in the image below and then my G8F charcters look very strage. Here is an example of P3D Duffy. It happens with all characters, even the basic G8F one.

What can I do?

    Looks like you probably have a character's morphs that are loading into every other character, giving that duplicate formulas error. The log file should tell you which one is doing it. You can also look at the shaping tab and go down the list to see who else is dialed in along with the character you're working on.

    Update:

    Ok I found the log file and it was caused by a morph by Zev0. So i deleted everything from this morph and now I don't get the message anymore. The G8F character looks still the same though! Every character looks ugly

    Still sounds like something else is loading in with it and changing the morphs. Look in the shaping tab under "People" and "Head." Sometimes a character will have an error in their morphs and get mixed in with others. I've seen that more than once. Usually the fix is to uninstall the character doing that and then send a support ticket to DAZ so they can notify the PA of the problem (and hopefully get it fixed.)

    There are no morphs under currently used other than the ones that are supposed to be Duffy.

    Now I get pretty much the same log file but with this after uninstalling Julia

    The thing is I don't have Growing up by zev0 installed and never purchased it... There are also no Growing up folder to be found anywhere.

    Thats how my Genesis 8 basic figure looks like, I don't remember it being so ugly. There are also no Morphs or Shapes under currently used..

    Look into your Shaping tab and check the morphs in use.

    Do you have Bend Control? That's the source of the unable to find message - it just means that if you had Growing Up too there would be adjustments to compensate when both were sued at once, it isn't a bad thing in itself.

    There's probably nothing wrong with it, my G8F basic looks just the same. Yes its just as ugly as yours...

    Many G8F look just weird to me, thats why I avoid any G8F character. Hopfully G9 won't be so disapointing.

    Thats not the shape of basic G8F.

    Thing is, if for some morphs default value is set to "active", which would be something different than 0, it wont show under "currently used" menu. Because currently used shows morphs which value is different from default value, not from 0 value. So, if default value is "active" and current value is the same "active" value than its not different so it doesnt show under "currently used". So scroll through morphs and look for ones that have value different than 0.

    Thank you, now its working again. There was a face at 100% that didn't show under currently used. I uninstalled the figure and now its working again
