Genesis 3 Character UVs for Genesis 8 Male Question

This looks promising. The product info says:

This product contains re-mapped UVs for all 13 of the Daz Original '7' figures that use unique UV maps, allowing your Genesis 8 Male to wear those skins and have them fit perfectly.

What I want to know is how does one use or apply these UVs? Is there a script? Hopefully, it's easy to do. Does anyone know how this product works?

    Once installed, you can apply the Genesis 3 Male character materials to Genesis 8 Male just as you would if it were G3M. The UV will apply automatically.

    Is there any similar product allowing G3 skins to be used on G2? I've purchased lots of G3 content, but I've discovered I like the G2 model better.
