Reinstall to external SSD

I have uninstalled Daz3D and the Install Manager along with deleting the folders. I would like to install to my External SSD. Any tips?

Click the gear icon at top right of the Install Manager interface to open preferences, then go to the Installation tab. The two folders in their own boxes are for software - they set the base path, to which the /Daz 3D/application name is appended, and can be changed by clicking the ... button. To set the path for content, if you don't want to use the default, click the + at the bottom of the dialogue, name your new content directory (as it will appear in DIM) and click the ... button to select it. Youset the path in DIM's main window by clicking the Detail check box and selecting from the folder list).
To set Daz Studio to use those paths download http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start and drag the file into the viewport of DS. Finally, to set the path used by Connect (downloading content in Daz Studio) go to Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences for the Mac), the Content tab, click the Content Directory Manager button, expand the current directory list to get to the Daz Connect data entries under Poser Formats and Daz Studio Formats, hihglight each in turn, click the Edit button and set the folder you wish to use.
