Gum Pokethrough (V3)

Hi,

Recently starting to get back into rendering after a fairly lengthy break (7+ yrs) and am having issues with gum pokethrough after using facial expressions that I don't seem to recall having previously.

Is it just because I'm using V3 in the latest version DAZ3D as opposed to the Poser that I was using previously (P7 I think) or am I just totally spacing and haven't installed/activated the proper morphs or something like that?  

Any thoughts or tips on how to fix it would be appreciated.  Was hoping to avoid trying to dig out old installs/etc and thought starting with the latest/greatest D3D would be the way to go, but not sure now.

  • If this is rendering in 3Delight, and if the skin uses the Age of Armour SSS shader, check that the maximum and minmum values for displacement are 0 on all surfaces for which the displacement strength is 0.

    Looks a bit as if the teeth/jaw has been translated forward.
