Can I open an OBJ file in Daz4.9, in order to render a still?

I attempted to place this Cartel Spaceship file in DS 4.9, but- as one of the attachments shows- nothing appears to come up.
I also attempted to open it in Hexigon, hoping to transfer it to DazStudio.
But Hexigon doesn't seem to open anything; at least, nothing seems to appear.
Even if I could open the file without textures, it would be helpful. (although textures would be nice.)

You do it through File>Import. Probably choose Poser scaling if it was designed for Poser.
Yes, check the scaling, many obj files have wonky scales depending on what it was created with so it might be so small (or big) that you do not see it, after importing to DS try to change the scale and see what happens.
That looks like it is in Poser format you just needed to extract it to the Runtime folder of your library.
Yes, that worked!
I don't know if I can figure out how to apply textures, but at least I have the basic prop.
Thank you!
Select object - go to 'Surfaces' tab - put the texture in 'Diffuse colour' by clicking on the triangle next to the colour bar. Do the same further down to add bump/normal/specular maps etc and/or adjust those levels.
That worked great!
Thanks!
