DS Library SLOOOOOOOW to Refresh

For a LONG time now I have been putting up with DS 4.9xxx doing odd things. One of the most annoying one is that every-so-often - usually after a render - my DS library will not display the contents of the various folders. I can click on one after the next and it is blank until DS finally decides to short th files. It can take up to 5 minutes for the files to show up. I am running DS version 4.9.4.122 Pro Edition.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Can anyone suggest a fix?
