Where are my messages?

I've receive messages just fine, but once I read them, they vanish from existence. I click on my message inbox, and nothing is there. I'd like to reread some of these messages, but they're gone. How do I look at messages I've already read?

PMs     Click on the gear icon (the one on the blue line) then click on inbox

Site messages click on the little blue man, then your account and then  Messages
