missing some stuff

hi, so i'm not sure why but theres suddenly some options missing..

One is Shadows. it use to be that I could click on a light and there was options and sliders for my shadows, they are gone. I cant even sellect between Ray Traced Shadows ands whatever the other two options were(I never used them)...

Next, I'm having an issue because I use to have the abillity to decide if things could cast a shadow. The situation I'm in now is something i could easily fix before...Everytime i put on the roof, my renders get super dark now. I've moved the lights around, but thats not working. I NEED my abillity to just let the light pass through the roof again without casting a shadow over everything...

Lastly, I have no luminosity Slider. I been having lighting problems ever sense I switched from 3Delight to IRay. Well, I read in the thread recently that "Intensity" dosnt really do anything for brightness in IRay, so to make things Brighter you need to play around with Luministy... Awesome.. Where is it? cause I click on the light and I'm not seeing a slider or anything... XD

  • The shadow options are available only in 3Delight, Iray doesn't support them (unless you switch to Interactive mode, which has other drawbacks). For Luminosity, make sure the light is set to Photometric mode.

Thanks, I'm not seeing where to turn on Photometric mode though.

Luminous Flux(Lumin)? Is that what makes things brighter?
