Scott Hair & Genesis 3 male

Hey, I just purhcased this tonight and realized that it was only intended to be used with the G2 male. Currently I am using G3. Does anyone know of a good way of making it fit or if that is possible? Thank goodness it didn't cost too much. I really like the model though

It's usually possible to get hair to fit manually. I assume this is parented prop hair, since it isn't offering to AutoFit - just position and scale it to more or less fit on the Genesis 3 Head, parented to the head so it will move with it, erring on th side of clipping inside the skull and then apply a Smoothing Modifier (Edit>Object>Geometry>Apply Smoothing Modifer) if it doesn't already have one and in the Parameters Pane, under the Mesh Smoothing group, set the collision target to the Genesis 3 figure. Once it's working save as a Wearables Preset (File>Save As menu).

Scott Hair is not a prop hair. It is a conforming hair for Genesis 2 male, Genesis 2 female and Genesis 3 Female. It will autofit to Genesis 3 Male just fine.

1. Load Genesis 3 Male into your scene.
2. Select Genesis 3 male in the Scene pane.
3. Double click on the icon for the Genesis 2 Male version of Scott Hair.
4. An Autofit dialog will pop up.
5. In "What figure was the item originally designed for?" select Genesis 2 Male
6. In "What type of Item is it?" select Hair->Short Hair.
7. If you want to tweak the fit or style, Select Scott Hair in the Scene pane.
8. Go to the Parameters pane and click on the arrowhead next to the word Actor to expand the list of morphs.
9. You will see categories of "Fit & Adjust" and "Move and Style". There are lots of morphs there to alter the look and fit of Scott Hair.

Here is a quick render of Scott Hair fit to G3M following the steps above. I didn't tweak the fit at all. I applied the red hair material that came with Scott Hair.
