RESOLVED: How to Upgrade to D|S 4.9.4.111

I just managed to obtain Michael 8 and have installed several files looking forward to playing with new toys.. No problems installing things using the DAZ program. However, when I try to load a figure that needs Genesis 8 Male or Michael 8, I get a message indicating that the figure cannot load until I upgrade my DAZ Studio to 4.9.4.111. I can see no way to do this.

Could someone please advise how to upgrade DAZ Studio itself? I've been through the forums, I've been through web searches, I did not see a thread or any indication on how to upgrade. Seems strange to me that this is hidden information unless it's in plain sight at the end of my nose. My apologizies if I missed it. I've submitted a ticket for help but do not expect to hear back until sometime tomorrow. This leaves me dead in the water tonight.

I have a Windows 10 64bit computer; I have tried to manually download a new copy of D|S to no avail. Nothing will download from the Technology DAZ Studio page. I have tried to use Install Manager (after upgrading that). Another strike out. :(

Help me please? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you use DIM to install you should see the new version in Ready to Download, if you use the stand-alone installer download a fresh copy and run that. It isn't a patch, it uninstalls the old version and installs the new, but settings and content are not affected. Do make sure DS is closed before starting to install.

Thank you for clarifying what I should see. Unfortunately, that is not what I see.

I have DAZ's Install Manager (it prompted me to upgrade and did so for the Install Manager itself). Once through that, (with my D|S closed) I opened up the newly installed DIM and found nothing that was DAZ Studio 4.9.4.11 .. I tried looking for just 4.9 and nothing showed up.

I tried to download the Daz Studio program itself (manual) and it refused to download anything to my computer. I'm totally at a loss.

It's also going to be 4.9.4.122, the current version. Go to your product library on the Daz Site and search for 4.9. You will find everything there.

Can someone help me as well, when I go to download new version, it says choose it, but there is nothing to choose, just a blank page.

My final resolution on this was to open a Help Ticket. They did some magic on the back end and I was able to download the softward. Sorry for the late response to this.
