I really like Darius 6, and Darius 7 is excellent. But will there be A Darius 8? I hope so. I keep checking for him. So far, no really dark (yep, I like the color on Darius 7), African-featured guys for Genesis 8. I'm still hoping.

Almost certainly not before December. I can't see them not giving Darius 7/Monique 7 a full year before trotting out the new versions, and they didn't come out until December 2016.
That said, because Olympia was moved up from her "normal" two-year date (both 6 and 7 were Christmas week releases, and 8 was released roughly eighteen months after 7), there's a slot open for this year if they decide to do that.
