FBX from C4d to DAZ

Hi...uhm... basically the title had said almost everything.
I own a copy of C4d R15 and I love modelling. But sometime I'd like import my works on DAZ.
So I export a FBX file without any material and import in DAZ and...
Well, you can see it in the pic.
There isn't anything. Absolutely nothing.
There is something, but it's like a ghost: I see that when I pass on it with the cursor, but I can't do anything.
This isn't a problem for simple object... I can using OBJ files, but... for complex scene I need FBX, because in this way I can have separated objects...
What I did wrong? There are settings I have to change for a good export?

Personally I never got the fbx importer to work fine. So it's quite useless to me. While obj and dae seem to work quite well most of the times.
In this case the problem is probably that DS can't understand a fbx file including only the geometry. You need to give it a uv map and a texture for DS to understand it.
p.s. Do not even try to import fbx characters and/or animations. It doesn't work. You will always get the error "Rigging limitation: bones without root skeleton". As I said fbx is quite useless in DS.
I had the exact same problem with attempting to import an FBX from Houdini. If you switch to the geometry editor tool and hover over the ghost object, does DAZ Studio crash for you? That's what it does for me.
Studio seems to ignore material zones, and get it's 'Surfaces' settings only from the materials actually applied in c4d.
That basically makes an applied material compulsory.
The problem I'm having is all the seperate parts of an imported FBX lose their relative positioning and are heaped on top of each other at world 0,0,0.
This is true however when modeling Daz content in C4D
you can just use a default grey material in C4D but give it the name
you wish to appear in the surfaces tab in DS such as "Collar" or "trim"
This is how I make my clothing content for DS that is ultimately
rendered in Blender(for stills) or back in C4D for animation.
But indeed... FBX from C4D to Daz will yield rubbish
however some people have reported success with FBX from
Autodesk motionbuilder'to Daz studio.
