Rude Gen 8 poses wanted!

So from the not too politically correct ... I'd like to see a collection of Gen 8 rude poses that interact with the camera... in fact, I love poses that interact with the camera regardless... you know.. a pose collection where the view is holding the camera or reaching out to the person on the other side... or waving to the viewer.. interacting as if you were having a conversation with the viewer... 

I think its sad that I couldn't find a finger pose of a character giving the bird or a one finger solute! You know where you make like your scratching your face but your actually flipping people off.. LOL  I want the pose that says when I walked by you.. I look down on you with disgust.. I wonder whose up for the challenge.. Also if you could make the collection so that its broken into parts top bottom... arms (birds this way.. birds that way.... bird up.. bird down...)  Really have some fun with it. 

What do you think?

    There is already at least one set in the store.

    BTW.  Do Not forget that there are rules about obscenity in the Daz 3D Forum ToS.  This includes visual as well as written or spoken profanity.

    Yup, which pretty much means there's not gonna be a flipping-the-bird poses / gestures pack being sold at Daz3D, though I could imagine something like that being presented at 'rosity or 'rotica or something.  There are add ons that give more fine tuned and easy control over hand poses, though, but that doesn't help with the overall body poses.

    My favorite part is that there are several poses obviously meant to incorporate that that nevertheless have clenched fists in the promos. And yet butt-pointing, crotch-grabbing, and the ol' finger in-and-out were a-okay.

    (Okay, I lied. My favorite part is how the censor blur on the crotch-pumping pose really does nothing but enhance the illusion of movement).

    This whole topic is hilarious and full of contradictions. The censorship (bluring) on the last promo of https://www.daz3d.com/rude-gestures-and-poses-for-m6-and-v6 is highly culturally/country bias. The "bird" pose is blurred but the two fingers in a V sign is much ruder in the UK (for those that don't know the difference between a "V for victory" sign and "*@&! you" sign, check out which way round Winston Churchill does the sign). In many countries the fist with the thumb trapped between the forefinger and middle finger is not known as a gesture at all. The exact same finger position can mean different things depending on which way round it is shown and in which country it is shown, that makes censorship either impossible or meaningless. Perhaps a more adult/mature approach to this is required. Personally I think attempted censorship of hand poses is a nonsense, but of course DAZ3d may have a different view point. Variety is the spice of life :)

    For discussion sake, I disagree.  Yes, I think that some of these 'rules' are meant to be broken from time to time... Shouldn't freedom of expression be allowed to push the boundries?  I wonder if its possible that DAZ develope a DAZ adults site for those of us over 21 who like having an open mind when it comes to such things.  No doubt expanding your product line and profitability can only be a win win.   I mean... your rules have made it so I can't talk all the things I want like religious icons and anything even remotely debatable... It's too much political correctness.

    Somebody out there will update this for G8's and it will be awesome no doubt!  With the enhanced abilities of the new characters it can only get that much better.

    I thought people's comments on the crotch grabbing was interesting when the first thing I thought of was Michael Jackson's dancing... which would be a great one to add to the mix of a new pack.  Along that lines, I can think of a few catcher's stances from baseball that might look rude... so many possibilities because we have so many opportunities to express ourselves.

    Hi SnowPheonix, I agree with you wholeheartedly on the subject of freedom of expression, but DAZ3d clearly do not. DAZ3d provide this forum with no direct expense to us, so they set the rules. I do like your idea of having a version of the forum which is only open to adults, so that adults can discuss issues in a mature and open minded way. The question is... do DAZ3d?

    I think the solution is to have a "DAZ After Hours" page... One where DAZ can sell us content that they honestly shouldn't let kids have access to... I really don't take issue with the morals behind these restrictions on 'freedom of art'... But I do think that we can work together to form a open minded ADULT portal.  It's in the interest of those who like making money to look into ways to expand sales without becoming a legal or immoral conduit of the lowest base impulses.   Never say never....  While the heart beats... hope lingers.

    I would prefer a set of poses that interacts with the camera but doesn't change the location of characters.  Need partial poses the most.. poses sets for arms, legs, head and neck sets would be nice.. really break it down as a construction set.  Thanks in advance.

    Oh.. and always can use better HDRI's :)  Thanks for all the recent ones.. got them all.

    While there is no G8 version, there are pose convertors & transfer scripts that convert poses quite well. I have done a script here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/448391/v4-a4-pose-transfer-to-g8f that allows you to apply the pose to V4, and after loading G8F, the script will transfer the pose to the G8F character. There are others around, including n_Alexandru's one that doesn't actually cover V4 poses here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/605941/genesis-1-2-3-8-9-to-genesis-3-8-9-pose-converter
