Note screen print; I should have a list of poses, but with any charecter whatsoever it remains blank. Thanks in advance.

The Content Management System isn't running - note the Start CMS button at the bottom of the category panel. All content lists bar the ... Formats lists depend on that.
Thanks Richard. So this is a temporary software glitch from DAZ? Will it be restored ? No biggie of course there are workarounds. I remain a happy camper.
It runs on your computer so click on the button to start it.
That was the first thing I tried. the blue Content Management button keeps coming on. I have clicked on it many times.
I still have the two problems.
Should I reload DAZ? Hope for an easier way. If so, must I delete the old version (How?)
Thanks
What security software are you using? If it keeps failing that does suggest that something is blocking it.
standard, unmodified McAffee.
McAfee has been doing soem odd stuff to DS recently, try disconnecting from the Internet, then disable McAfee and see if DS then works - if it does at least you know the cause and can consider your options.
Turning off MccAffee didn't seem to work. Note image: I get this warning pop up.
Thanks
Try turning the Firewall off too. The CMS needs an internal port to communicate through and the Firewall might be blocking it. If you open the Preferences in studio and go to CMS it will show the port that needs to be given access.
Darn it, that does not work either. I still get the pop up and CMS non-functionally.
