Does DAZ Studio have a way to "apply" transforms to an object?

I imported an object from a COLLADA file. It came into DAZ Studio perfectly--except that it was twice as big as desired. I scaled it down to 50% of its imported size, and now it really is perfect.
But before saving it as an asset, I'd like to lock in its new size so that when I reload it, it will appear at exactly the right size, but the scale factor will say 100%.
In Blender, this is called "applying" a transform. DS may offer the same feature but with a different name.

Only by exporting as OBJ and reimporting, using the same preset for each operation (so that the scales balance)
I'll give it a go! I'll probably have a "what happened to my materials" followup question, though!

1. exporting scaled down to 50% as OBJ
2. go to Menu Edit > Figure/Object > Geometry > Update Base Geometry - in Dialog "Vertex Poition Only" and choose the scaled down OBJ
