mapping of mesh to bones issue

Hi,

I have a pair of bracers created in Hexagon and have brought them into DAZ3D.

I converted them to figures using the inherit bone structuter.

One part of the mesh overlaps Gensis 3 Femal : Right Shoulder Bend.

I want it to not be associated with it, I want it to be cleared so it is not associated with anything, because the mesh deforms as it is now.

How do I clear the association?
