version compatibility

Hi there,
As a newbie to this wonderful arena... would an item such as V4 Age Injector be compatible with Victoria5, or is it only compatible with Victoria4? And would this apply to all versions? What are the "rules" in using the figures with the "add-ons"?

    As a general rule, morphs from one generation won't work on another. http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x can transfer Gen 4 morphs to Genesis -- I don't know if that would work for the age injector.
