Attack of the Spicky Nightmares III

Im having trouble loading morphs for G8 from Blender.

i export G8 (no eyelashes, res base, sudivision 0) as an obj, edit on blender, reimport via morphLoadPro. and though mrphLoaderPro claims "morph was successfully loaded" (so polycount must be alright), when i hit the dial i'm getting SPICKY NIGHTMARES! yaargh!

I've been trying different export options. Blender ---> Daz should be fine (it's a saved and tested preset), so i guess the trouble is in Daz ---> Blender. Optimal specs there, anybody?Or maybe is something entirely different that im just not seeing. Any idea welcome!

    I haven't checked in the latest version, but the Blender export/import options from Studio have been messed up for a long time.  So don't use the Blender preset.  Use something else.  And make sure both the export from Studio and the reimporting of the edited obj are both using the same import/export preset.

     

  • Aw man. Im such a moron sometimes. I was madly trying combinations of export options -- and completely forgot about the import ones, in Blender! (They are far too discreet there on the side, and easily forgotten. That is, easily if you are a moron like me -_- ). "Keep vertex order" is one of these options, and it's not checked by default. 

    Thank you very much for your answer, mjc! I'm currently using a custom preset, that seems to be working (again). I irrationally hate all those presets full of options i dont quite understand lol. Mine exports massive objs in blender, but thats alright, and keeps the axis so i dont need to rotate the whole thing.
