A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established

Hey Guys & Gals,
I have not used Daz in awhile and today i used DIM to update and check some content which it downloaded.
But now i keep getting the error window A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established.
I closed DAZ and then opened DIM and tried to uninstall PostgreSQL CMS but it wont uninstall and the directory does not even show up.
I have attached a screenshot so You can see.
I tried restarting system but it did not help.
It was working fine before I used DIM today and added so free content and udated DAZ thru DIM.
Anyone have a clue how to fix this issue? Please.
Thanks in advance
Fred

What security software are you using?
Hello Richard,
Thanks for the fast reply to my issue.
I am running 2 security programs Kaspersky Total Security and Malwarebytes.
I have already added exceptions for Daz folder and all programs in it to not scan or monitor Daz and its programs.
Thanks in advance
Fred
Hello Richard,
Not sure if my post made it or if it being screened, but I am adding some information.
So as i said in first reply i am Using Kaspersky and Malwarebytes.
All daz programs are excluded from scans.
That said i have noticed something My old Daz folder is empty totally so I deleted it.
But since I ran DIM yesterday I now notice it created multiple folders as you can see in attached picture.
Is this normal to have that happen as the each have items in them?
Please let me know
Thanks in advance
Fred
Hello,
Ok I found the problem somehow the .zip file the DIM downloaded was corrupt and it would not uninstall it or install over it.
So i deleted PostgreSQL files and folders and then tried to install it again and this time it worked so I am back to 100% working.
Thanks for your help.
Fred
OKay so I had this exact same issue, except when I deleted and reinstalled, it still isn't working. Including a snapshot of the issue. Cannot get Smart Content to show up, and even under Content Library, many letters of the alphabet are missing. Already done a forum search and this topic is the closest to my issue.
Any help greatly appreciated!
I've been having this problem since I updated my system software to Mac HIgh Sierra last week. I've tried reinstalling both the DIM and SQL and have been messing around with the firewall settings. I also changed the port setting in preferences as one person suggested. I'm still getting the error message.
If you can run your Firewall in Learn mode it might show you that Postgres is being stopped from accessing the internal port that it needs. If it does then click on allow and see if that does it.
