How do I render an animation in 4.5
Hi I am new to DAZ I've been struggling for a week try to learn how to do stuff. Currently I am stuck at rendering an animation I created. I did the animation in aniMate2 and just can not find a way to turn my animation into a movie. I have googled and googled watched tutorials, etc.
I just can't seem to find any help. I am using Daz4.5 and all the documentation seems to be for older versions. Any help would be appreciated.

In the render settings you have the option for either a still frame, image sequence or a movie file. For animation it's recommended you render an image sequence and then combine them into a movie using separate software. This way you can make any necessary changes easier and you're not stuck rendering every single frame. It allows you to break things up into more manageable chunks, which is especially handy if you've got a lot of frames and don't want your PC out of action for the next few months.
(sorry!! no need to bake to timeline :red:, just render images)
Edited
you may need export your animation as FBX or BVH,,
bake the Animate2 timeline to daz timeline,, I think
so I do not delete my mistake ^^;
keep open Animate 2 tab,
then r-click the top border are in Animate 2 pane,,
select Bake to studio key frame
(not tab, or not option menu of Animate 2)
it bake timeline to studio time line.
thanks for the responces, so DAZ can not make a movie, ok cool got it , time to look esle where, thanks again.

I would just like to add, that DAZ claimed the movie making was built it. I am very disappointed that I can not make movies with DAZ 4.5.
Daz Studio can make movies. It very much depends on your PC and the amount of RAM you have if YOU can make movies with it.
Daz Studio can make movies just fine, but as I pointed out it's easier if you render to a series of images and then postwork them together. You have the option under render settings to render direct to video, but it means rendering the entire scene in one take, which can take a very long time depending on your system and how complex the animation is.
Or one can render the scene in parts and "knit them together" in a video editor such as Pinnacle Video Spin which is free. [few dollars for some codex if required].

Thanks! I finally found what I needed, thanks again! This computer is pretty good it render my movie in a few seconds at quality 2. The movie is only 5 seconds long and only has one actor so it was quite a simple movie.
