Daz ate my SSD

I built a new maching with a smallish SSD C: drive and a 3Tb standard D: drive. When I loaded up Daz I changed the path statement on Install Manager to the D: drive as advised here on the forum. Downloaded all my content.
After about 6 months I'm running out of space on my C: drive. I downloaded TreeSize to find out why and found My DAZ 3d Library is consuming about 220 GB on BOTH my C: and D: drives. Looks like Daz is duplicating all it's files on both drives.
Any advice on how to fix this?

Are you sure it's the same files and folders? If you are installing with Connect (which you might do if you have DS online, and if you haven't added the D: location as a content directory so DS thinks the products are as yet uninstalled) then they will be downloaded and placed in the My Daz Connect Data Library folder, which will be on C if you haven't told DS otherwise.
Indeed. The folders on both drives are named, "My DAZ 3d Library".
How do I change the path for My Daz Connect?
If I change the path now will it move all it's files automatically, or do I need to delete and reload Daz from scratch?
No, you don't need to delete and reload from scratch, but it proably won't delete the content in the undesired location. Once you are sure all the content is in the desired location, you can manually delete it from the undesired one.
How do I change the path for Daz Connect?
Edit>Preferences>Content tab, click the Content Directory Manager button.
Thanks. I see that. I've attached a screen capture of what's there.
It appears that changing the install path in Install Manager to the D: drive didn't effect where Daz installs it's data files. It seems Install Manager is downloading all the content to the D: drive and then Daz is still installing it all on the C: drive. I was wrong before. Only the download packages are on the D: drive. But Daz has unpacked and installed all the content on the C: drive.
I do see that the Daz Connect folder is on the C: drive, but when I looked in there I only found a few GB of data.
Any suggestions?
Is there any reason to keep the data files? I checked the "Delete Package Once Installed" option under Ready to Install in Dim. I haven't noticed any issues.
I only keep the data files so that if I ever need to reinstall everything, it doesn't need to all be downloaded again.

There is an Installation Tab in the Install Manager. You can change the install path there. Note that the Downloads path and the Install path are separate settings.
You will also need to make sure the Content Directory paths match the Install Manager path.
Rob does have a couple of related scripts, one of which may be useful - just download the one for the direction you want to go i, then drag it into an open DS viewport and drop it to let it run.
Set DS paths to match DIM: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start

Fantastic! Thanks guys. Once I got the paths right I was able to copy all the content off my SSD to my D: drive and delete it from my SSD. Worked great.
