You're welcome, dawnblade. Thanks, Novica and barbult. I was so frustrated with with the BOSS lights that I was about to return it. (I don't like portrait studio type lighting and didn't like the promos. I only bought it because I love The Philosopher's other stuff that I have.) I thought I would give it another try and was happy with the result. I really like strong rim lighting and back lighting with a weaker light in the front but don't want shadow to obscure everything. I think this set can do that, but it sure takes some tweaking.
This is a fantastic set, but there is a learning curve. I tested it before it came out and loved it. Hadn't thought to save settings as presets. I will definitely start and share my results. It is wonderful for closeups and dramatic lighting.

This is Ren, by DarwinsMishap, he has not been released yet.
Tone Mapping: Always do Film ISO first, as it moves the Exposure Value slider, which you then move second. Don't worry what it does with Shutter Speed.

Can I ask, what might sound like a dumb question? The Best Camera Angle pointer doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It's basically an arrow pointing to a point, I get the 'place figure here' bit but, the camer angle confuses me a little. I know it might seem obvious to some of you but, when I load the lights, I'd expect the set up to be set to world centre and default angle, ie. front, but I've noticed the different presets have differnet angles on the red trianlge. If it said 'Best Position', I'd have no confusion but do I angle the camer with the > ie, pointing in the same direction or is it meant to be like a view angle guide < pointing the other way?
By the way, I feel a bit better that I'd worked out how to switch it off myself :-D It didn't appear in my first use of the set, for some reason, it was only in my second reder that it showed up.
Thanks.
Here is the commercial thread and response to a similar question.
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/3634981/#Comment_3634981Thanks. right so my first guess was right about that but I seem to remember getting meshes etc in the way where as from the front you get a clear view. Really odd but thank you for linking that I'll read through it all.
