How to combine a photo background and a DAZ 4.5 Pro character render realistically?

1.) I would like to know how can I combine a photo background and a daz3d character render that they would look realistically convincing together?

2.) How can I setup DAZ3D to angle the camera the same as the photo so that the characters will be accurately placed?

Can anyone post a tutorial or point me to one? Thank you.

Two things you need to do. 1 is set up the camera in DS with the same focal length of your real camera and get the same angle and distance to where in the scene you're placing your 3D subject.

The other: is lighting. If you think the above is hard, replicating lighting is harder. You really have to pay attention to shadows. If you're using artificial lighting, you can measure it. If you're using natural lighting, you might need to use UE2 with Global Illumination and a distance light set to the angle of the sun. You may also have to make several render passes and do colour correction in whatever photo editor you have (Photopoop, GIMP, etc)...

A really good tutorial from Carnite, which i think will help you out a lot with this (I certainly learned from it!)

Making the lighting match is really important in this situation. Jaderail has a good tutorial on the subject: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/223684/

That's a huge question. Depends on what software you have, what photo your using or if you can use an HDRI image and a backplate.

If your trying to insert it in your photo and you have Photoshop CS6 or 5 Extended, I'd do it there.

This example was done by making a fake image to use for lighting in PS by stitching together a couple of photo's taken in the same area in the same light. It took about ten minutes to assemble and I let it render for maybe five minutes.
