Updated Avast now gets an error trying to save a scene

I recently updated Avast and now when ever I try to save a scene I get a error saying - Error saving the file "name and location of file .duf.png" the render could not be saved try again or choose new file name- the n there is three options to choose try again choose new file or cancel but I can not choose any of them because the cursor wheel keeps spinning only way to exit the error is to x it out. I think it still saves the scene ok but there is no png file like my older scenes that I have saved and the error is really anoying. I have the latest version of Daz and windows 10

Have you tried adding Daz Studio as an exception in AVAST?
I had a similar error with Avast. It turned out it didn't like special characters in the filename. I had a question mark in the image name, took it out and evrything was fine.
If I had to guess I'd say it doesn't like the 'double extent' of .duf.png
Sounds to me like Avast has followed the "Norton" path in that it has effectively become a virus by taking control of the machine/denying access to some functions and software.
