Ring around eyeballs?

The morpheus eyes seem to have a dark ring around them. Any way to fix that?

Working in daz studio 4.9 on a mac using a Toon Generations figure with a morpheus eyes.

I know, but that would involve posting it somewhere and coming up with url link....why can't I just upload an image here?  I'll get something uploaded soon.

And while we're on the subject.  Any way to make eyeballs smaller?

"why can't I just upload an image here?"

Actually, you can, Deke, although it is a bit roundabout. There are several ways you can do it. The most straightforward, IMO, way is to begin by attaching an image to your post using the "Attach a file" button at the bottom. You then just browse to the desired file's location on your hard drive, select the file and click on "open". Wait a bit as the file uploads, and it will appear as a thumbnail at the bottom of your post. This also places a full-sized version of the image on the DAZ servers. Clicking on the thumbnail will open the full-sized version of the image. Some users have complained about the use of the thumbnails only, which I am guessing is related to accessing them using tiny screens such as cell phones. However, you can also place a full-sized version within your post by opening it by clicking on the thumbnail, then copying the url from the big one, then editing your post and clicking on the image icon, then pasting the copied url in the resulting dialogue box. A little bit kludgy, but it gets the job done.

Alternatively, you could place the image in your DAZ gallery and use the url of that to skip the thumbnail step, although most users tend to reserve the galleries for finished renders. You could also create your own thread in the Art Studio forum for that purpose, uploading all the thumbnails there and using the resultant full-size urls to place the images directly into posts elsewhere. Someone else has actually done this there and invited anyone else wishing to use it for that purpose to feel free. However, as I say, I find the first approach to be the simplest and most straightforward option.

Why do people think dark rings round the iris are wrong?   It's called the limbal ring and it is a very desirable feature apparently.  I have always had them and thought nothing of it, but have discovered that some people will buy contact lens to give them the dark ring.

I don't think it's wrong. But it's bad for me because when I'm talking to someone that has them I end up looking intently into their eyes in a that I'm sure they find creepy. In the back of my mind I think it means they have special magic powers or something laugh

Thanks for the comments. I'll look at adjusting the surface image file and see if that helps. I also find the dark ring distracting...even if accurate. I did fina a adjuster to make the iris smaller which is a big help as the size, along with the dark ring, make the "crazy" more obvious.
