disabling auto follow on ears so hair won't conform? SOLVED

lost the thread somewhere...couldn't find it with search. But, I'm sure this has been explained.
I'm trying to use elf ears with the Seema hair. But, the hair transforms and conforms to the ears instead of allowing the ear to poke through.
Which value do I turn off and where would it be located. I've been looking through all the parameters, trying to find it.
Thanks

Enable Show Hidden properties in the Parameters pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the name tab), select teh hair, and look under Currently Used in the Parameters pane (or type elf in the filter box) and zero the morph.
Alternatively, for a more permanent solution, on the base figure find the slider for the ear morph, click the gear icon, and select Parameter Settings. Copy the Name (not the label) and close the dialogue, select the hair, fit to None, and go to Edit>Figure>Clear Generated Morphs -that will remove the AutoFollowed morph. Now right-click in the Parameters pane and set it to Edit Mode (if it isn't) then right-click in the hidden group and select Create New Property..., paste the copied name into the name field, and check the Hidden box. This will create a property with the same name as the unwanted morph, which wills top DS from generating a new one - you can then use File>Save as>Support Assets>Morph Asset to save the dummy property.
Thanks, I will try both of these methods. :)
Got it, thanks!
